Purpose
This article highlights the differences between a user profile and a guest profile as it relates to travel.
Overview
User Profiles
- Users can login to Neo1, and can book and manage their own trips
- Users can store and book travel against their own payment method or be authorized to be booked against a shared card
- User profiles are subject to pre-trip approval if it is enabled for the company
- Users can manage their personal profile, which includes:
- Ability to add loyalty programs (air, rail and hotel)
- Ability to store travel documents (Drivers license, KTN etc)
- Ability to add several payment methods
Guest Profiles
- Guest have no access to Neo1. Online bookings can only be made by a Neo1 Admin, Arranger or Travel host on their behalf
- Guest inherit the payment method of the host (the user that creates the guest profile)
- Guest profiles have no option to capture loyalty programs (these can be added after booking directly with the vendor)
- The approval process doesn’t apply to guest bookings
