Purpose

This article highlights the differences between a user profile and a guest profile as it relates to travel.

Overview

User Profiles

  • Users can login to Neo1, and can book and manage their own trips
  • Users can store and book travel against their own payment method or be authorized to be booked against a shared card
  • User profiles are subject to pre-trip approval if it is enabled for the company
  • Users can manage their personal profile, which includes:
    • Ability to add loyalty programs (air, rail and hotel)
    • Ability to store travel documents (Drivers license, KTN etc)
    • Ability to add several payment methods

Guest Profiles

  • Guest have no access to Neo1. Online bookings can only be made by a Neo1 Admin, Arranger or Travel host on their behalf
  • Guest inherit the payment method of the host (the user that creates the guest profile)
  • Guest profiles have no option to capture loyalty programs (these can be added after booking directly with the vendor)
  • The approval process doesn’t apply to guest bookings
